FINALLY ARRIVED....

.... here we are finally in the wonderful city of Queenstown New Zealand!

What a start to out travels it was..... Sydney is renowned for traffic issues and on a VERY wet morning it was real BAD today, and around the entrance to the airport came to a stand still, and took nearly 40 minutes to travel the last kilometre, the cab driver was a gem, and actually turned the meter off!
Anyway, we had allowed enough time and in booking in met with Travelling Kiwi and her husband on their way back to Wanaka, from their trip in Sydney. Also AmandaNaylor had mentioned her husband was on the same flight on a business trip so we had a "mini" Blip meet at the airport.

The fun continued with Virgin flight being late to arrive holding our departure and then the plane needed a new tyre..... so 2 hours after scheduled time we were off.

And here we are.... arrived, booked in to motel then straight up to the gondola restauraunt.... man what a view and what a meal.

Thought would quickly get this up and off too get a good sleep, ready for our travels tomorrow which will end up in Te Anau and catch up with Walking Wombat and CCN who are there also. We will then be ready for the Milford Sound trip on Wednesday (22nd)

Enjoy, and have a look in large to see just how close the mountain is on landing, and the Kawarau River - wow!
