Clematis

After a long and busy day at work (I really shouldn't complain - I'm only working two days this week) we had a long and difficult bed time process with our little ones tonight. They were both so tired, and grumpy and moany and well just generally hard work.

Anyway, they got to sleep eventually and the bags got sorted and repacked and the wash load put on and the kitchen floor swept and the jobs done for another day.

Oh and the photo - I was weaving back an number of different climbers around the garden the other day and this clematis bud came off amongst some dead wood. I popped it in a little cup on the kitchen table and have been watching as the leaves have slowly opened. It's gorgeous isn't it?
