Shimmering

Gill and I had a lovely long walk along the beach at Troon this morning. Although it was a fine day, the sky was fairly overcast as we walked south, with the sun's rays shining through the cloud and shimmering on the water.

When we turned round to retrace our steps, it was a completely different picture - beautiful blue sky and Arran perfectly clear across the Firth of Clyde.
