Monday blues
.... but in a good way. The campus is beginning to burst into colour, and this bed of forget me nots (I think that's what they are) really screamed 'look at me! look at me!'. So I did.
The gaps created by my retreat from election-related activities are being plugged by arty stuff. Extra choir practices are being called ahead of our performances at the Sainsbury Centre in a few weeks time, and the ukulele society has our first 'proper' gig of the year on Sunday at Strangers Hall in the centre of Norwich.
I'm included in the lineup, and it's going to be fun - a gig where we give the audience a list of songs to choose from. They yell out the name of a song, we play it. Often with the audience singing along too.
Whilst the weather is nice I am tending to spend my lunchbreaks laying in the grass staring at the sky counting my blessings. It's a good habit to cultivate, I'm thinking.
