Devil's Beeftub

after watering the recently planted things in the garden we set off for the Lake District and stopped for lunch and a walk at the Devil's Beeftub near Moffat. In the days of the border rievers it made a good place to hide the stolen cattle in the very steep sided, deep valley.
The on to  Mum's and a lazy evening.
