A slice of Lesley's life

Wall walking

Today has been up and down. Well down and down and up and up and a bit more round the houses in the middle.

Awoke early to barking dog, vomit and other messes greeting me in the kitchen. Super lethargic, feeling sorry for herself little pup. Still hasn't eaten much and has slept most of the day but did manage a small amount of food and a little walk. Hopefully she'll wake up back to her perky self tomorrow.

As for the other patient...he's had his low moments but we've also had some ups. Neurologist appt and blood results today. Nothing overly conclusive from the bloods but he has been put on mega dose Vit D tablets as that was a little insufficient. Mainly the doc wants him to try and push himself within tolerable levels - whilst also making sure he doesn't push himself too far. So a little bit of a challenge. But we have developed his current structure and plan and are all having faith and hope. We are also dividing the dragons for individual slaying James Bond style and trying to stop him from feeling overwhelmed by it all.

And I did some work and tried not to feel overwhelmed myself by what the next few days has in store. But I am now more than half-packed. And feeling better that I am leaving the boy in slightly stronger place.

Let's hope the mutt is too. Anna is being a star about me going and has done me a trade of daily pictures of Albi in exchange for a present.

Oh, I nearly forgot to mention the picture....this wall is the back of a building on our road and it seems to hold such an appeal to the kids that they can't walk past it without hopping up. I wouldn't say I exactly hopped up (and I did check no-one was around) but it did give me a little lift (ha) when I needed it earlier.

And another oh - the boy has grown another 2cms in a month!!
