Nearly over

These are the roses I purchased for myself a couple of weeks ago, beginning to reach the end of their time. Strangely though they still look lovely - I love the colour and being in the conservatory keeps them cool (ish apart from when the sun beats down).

"Lace" evening was eventful, took ages to get there due to roadworks at Blackbushe diverting traffic down through Fleet and what seemed to be the back of beyond - to eventually get to Hartley Witney. Great evening with the ladies and a scrumptious cake (home made) - lots if chat and laughter. (Took motorway back home!)
