Cutting the ribbon

Today we had an opening ceremony to celebrate our new school entrance and the classroom upgrade that has just been completed.

Our youngest student (who actually turns 5 tomorrow) cut the entrance ribbon for us with the help of our Board Chairperson.

It was a lovely ceremony.  The Nelson Archdeacon attended to give both blessings and cultural protocol.  The students sang and the community applauded them.  What more can you ask for from a ceremony?
