South Pond

on another beautiful morning. Only two male Mallards and a lone goose to be seen. On the other side of the pond the dredging has resumed; no wonder the ducks and geese have left to nest elsewhere.
Next year the reeds and water plants will be thriving and it will be lovely here. I expect the water fowl will return. Maybe even sooner with their babies.
