A Peek in the Greenhouse
A bright but windy sunny morning turning cloudy.
To Roquetas for Dancing this morning. Foxtrot again, I think for our benefit. A little better today and we can now, more or less, progress round the Dance floor. Only two basic steps though! We will need to practice at home.
On the way to Roquetas we go through the Greenhouses and when the sides are down to let in the air, you can see what is growing so we scheduled a stop on the way back.
The courgettes are in flower and you can see them growing. I was quite surprised at how big the plants are, but given the size of the courgettes perhaps not so surprising. I had to take the shot through the netting so not as clear as I would like.
I was talking to a Spanish friend at Pilates last week about the wind we always have in Almeria and she said we need the wind in the Spring or the vegetables would not grow. I guess the Greenhouses need aerating.
Rain is now scheduled overnight so we have to go up to the Bowling Club to move the mats in case in rains in as we have our St George's Day Gala on Thursday. Hey Ho! It's a great life if you don't weaken!
