Shibden Hall

I've blipped this place before but it is somewhere we never tire of visiting and the weather was so perfect for it today.  We didn't go inside, as we've "been there, done that" many times;  we just had a walk through the woods down to the boating lake and back up to the house and gardens.

It was busier than it often is, but not so busy it was uncomfortable, and   we managed to grab a relaxing couple of hours  -  all the nicer for it all being on our own doorstep.
