Home Sweet Home

It was  a pleasant surprise this afternoon to arrive home from Texas to blue skies and 19C temperature - after an overnight flight to London and the short flight up to Edinburgh I didn't think I would be in the mood to blip!

However in the 2 weeks we have been away the grass has had a growth spurt and the garden  has burst into colour. In fact it sounds as if we have missed some lovely weather while New Orleans and Texas have treated us to some spectacular thunder and lightening and torrential rain at times - beautiful the rest of the time and we did have the joy of meeting our little granddaughter for the first time - parting was a bit emotional last night!
