from Wansfell
Some might call me crazy but I set off for Wansfell at 6am and was on top by 7. It's 1500 feet of ascent according to Wainwright. For at least ⅔ (that's two thirds for those who are reading this on the app) of the climb it's like going up a skyscraper without using the lift, but the steps are much more uneven.
On top I rolled around on the ground trying to get sunbursts but in the end I preferred this photo where the sun was blocked by the wall. The bit of light stuff in the bottom left quarter is some sheeps wool.
Spent the sunny afternoon pottering around in the garden and finding space for the plants I bought at Larch Cottage nurseries last week.
