Lapwing

Busy day catching up after our break in the Lakes, so a quick blip from the River Weaver on my way home.

I was very lucky to get the Lapwing as they normally like to feed in the middle of ploughed fields so are very difficult to get close to.  This one was on the edge of the field so I was able to hide behind the hedge to take his photo!
