Memories of Times Past

We met this young German woman this afternoon on a visit to Westhall Castle near Oyne, which was open this afternoon under Scotland's Garden's Scheme.

She kindly let us share her table in the 'tea room', and in conversation with us, explained that her great aunt and uncle had worked there many years ago when the castle was open as a hotel.
