Porty People and Places

Summer all day here today (22 degrees) and probably hotter than it will be in August!  

This is the view looking along Portobello High Street this evening.

The prom and beach were full of promenaders and beach volleyballers. Six courts were in action tonight.

Sadly, the litter suggested that not all those who came to the beach today could be bothered to take it away with them at the end of the day.

My day began early with the  0645 train to Glasgow for a morning of excellent international meetings hosted by The University of Glasgow. 

In the afternoon we went to the massive garden centre, nearby,  to stock up with plants for our garden that Tiggy is in the process of re-designing.
