All I want

... is to be able to finish my book!

Got up early to read, as I couldn't sleep, but ended up washing my hair and contacting a relative on FB instead, so I was actually late...

Went outside at lunchtime to sit on "my bench" in the sun and read, but, shockingly, two other people joined me.

Left work on time to catch bus and sit on own bench in garden and read. The bus did not turn up. Ended up going to Home Bargains and walking home, arriving around 5.30pm. Had to eat and be in the next town by 6.30.

Went to a talk in the next town, and the speaker turned up and talked and talked and talked....no reading there, either!

So now, with the fifth sore throat of the year coming on, I'm off to bed with some hot lemon and honey, and my book. I am determined to finish it. Have had it on the go for weeks now and keep forgetting who did what and why. Shame, because I am enjoying it, just never get more than five minutes at a stretch.
