In a few days, this rack will be filled with bicycles as the Belfast Bikes scheme rolls (ha!) out. 

For a city the size of Belfast, it's a bit strange that it hasn't had a public bike rental scheme until now. Still, that'll all be rectified in a week or so, and we motorists will have scores of occasional (and hence wobbly) cyclists to contend with on the roads.

A cultural evening tonight. Mme Tepeka and I took ourselves off to the Grand Opera House to see The King's Speech, starring Jason Donovan in a role as an Australian failed actor. Stop your sniggering - he was very good. Excellent, in fact. As were the entire cast. I enjoyed the movie, but the stage version was even better.
