Triple selfie

Well I'm having a great April. The weather is still just stunning, getting up to 25C in the sun today, and I'm having plenty of time in it around my working hours.

I got to work early as planned and worked hard for five straight hours drafting various documents relating to a sale and overage deal. Not something I do every day and more enjoyable as a result. I managed to get some drafts out before I thought I would, which is great and I finished the final one off this evening and emailed it out so I'm happy with that.

I was about an hour late leaving at lunch but was still away by 1.30pm which was pretty good going.

I arrived home to meet the courier who delivered the new covers for my Ikea bedroom chair, sent all the way from Sweden. All very efficient. The chair does look nice in its new stripy clothes! I wrapped a pressie for H, who turned 16 today. (Wow. That made me feel old.)

Then I enjoyed the gorgeous sun while I drove over to Brackley to see H along with the rest of the family for afternoon tea. The bubs were there. Hurrah! Here we all are... the babies took over the iPhone! I got some funny videos as Teddy acted as camera man. He loved the fish in their aquarium too and kept trying to stroke the fish through the glass. Bless him. C tried to get Tilly to take the bottle but she's still objecting. She's really enjoying the world around her now she's about five months. A bright little button.

I enjoyed a decent homemade curry and some Masterchef this evening as well as the bit of work I had to get done. I am hoping that by working this evening, I will be able to avoid it tomorrow during my day off. Looking forward to a cheeky lie in tomorrow morning too...
