Goldfinch

I'm lucky to have both Goldfinches and Greenfinches nearby. They love a conversation but I do wonder how often they are just talking to themselves :-)

We had a look in our local woods for arriving migrants the Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler and Blackcap are here and now in increasing numbers. Hoping for Tree Pipit and Cuckoo soon. Less hopeful for Pied flycatcher as I never found one there in 2014 and I sometimes think I just dreamed that Wood Warblers ever visited (its been many years since I even heard one).
