A Bee and a Snake's Head Fritillary
I noticed a field of beautiful wild flowers yesterday during my lunchtime walk in Gaydon Coppice. I returned today with my macro lens and took a few shots. My investigations suggest they are the rare native Fritillaria meleagris, or "snake's head fritillary". The bees like them.
The bluebells are starting to come through, so I will have ample candidates for blips during the next week or 2.
I took the long route home via the very interesting Chesterton Windmill.
