Executive Board

Diana, Alma S., Karen and I got together on what used to be our Democratic women's organization usual Executive Board meeting day and time...third Tuesday, 1:00 pm.  (Three others were absent.)

Just over a year ago, when the Board made the decision to dissolve the club, we decided that we wanted to keep in touch with each other.  Since, we concluded, for many years we kept open that particular day and time for our Executive Board meetings, we might as well continue to do so.  It seemed logical.

So every month, since April 2014, we have gotten together at a local coffee house. Everyone does their best to make it but sometimes life gets in the way.  Whether it's two of us or seven, it's always pleasurable.

We have gotten to know the person  behind the Board  member.  It's not just gavel-to-gavel anymore. It's been really great and we are closer now than ever before!

NB:  The NFL (American Football) schedule was announced today and my life-long, best-est, most favorite team, the Buffalo Bills  will be playing in London on Sunday, 25 October. If you're there, grab a ticket!
