Puzzled

This monkey puzzle tree is one of a number of very mature specimen trees in the grounds of my workplace.  

We recently heard that we are to move out of this office by April 2016, part of the Government cutbacks and 'estate rationalisation'.  From my side of the fence it doesn't make sense to leave a 30 year old purpose built premises with good access and excellent facilities.  But then what do I know?, from my position in the organisation I obviously struggle to see the big picture. The writing was already on the wall when part of the building was closed and functions moved elsewhere.  
Life moves on, there are a lot of other things in the mix before next April, work could look very different by then.
