Somebody told me........

.......the streets of Glasgow were paved with gold!
So I jumped on a ferry ,with my meagre belongings in a spotted  kerchief over my shoulder, and carrying a shovel.  
 And eagerly  set off there!!

Only to find that they had lied!!
The streets were just plain old tarmac :-(

But all the Insurance company buildings were clad in gold right enough !!!
