Spirea, Bridal Veil...

A few weeks ago one of my followers, nhc from Portland, Oregon, posted a pictures of a shrub they had seen in that city and wondered what it was. I thought it was Spirea Bridal Veil, covered in thousands of tiny white flowers that cascade like lace in a bride's veil. I thought it was this because we have the same shrub in our garden in Manchester. Portland is a lot further south than Manchester and it's taken several weeks for spring to catch up. But here's our Bridal Veil shrub in full bloom this morning.
