Red, White and Blue

A lot of primary schools seem to be having parties today for the Diamond Jubilee, so it was time to dig out the red white and blue clothes. Once we made it to school the lack of effort made by a lot the boys was noticeable, but that's what comes of living in a city with two football teams, one wearing red and white, the other blue and white!
I'm neither a royalist not a republican. They bring in more money than they cost, so they're worth keeping for now.
And it gives us a different reason for a party. In the last 1000 years there have been 2 diamond jubilees in the UK, and the last was over a century ago. There aren't many around. Let people party!
