Coniston Water

A friend came over from Yorkshire to the Lakes for the day and we visited Brantwood, John Ruskin's home and garden on Coniston Water. We had a lovely time wandering round the grounds and enjoying lunch on the sunny terrace. This view is from the garden above the house looking out across the lake through the trees.
