Ripped

This has to be the best value t-shirt ever. D bought it in Chapel Street Market, in Islington, in the early 1980s.He bought a blue one as well, and paid £1 for the two. Islington in those days was not the gentrified area it is now, but a suitable place for a poor student to live in. He wore the t-shirt to swim in on our honeymoon in 1988, when it had no holes and protected him from the sun. Thirty years later, he wears it for gardening.
