Floral Crown

Our local council are out in force planting up lots of commemorative flower beds to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee. I saw this one yesterday and thought it would make a good blip but hadn't counted on the embarrassment of standing on a busy traffic island with numerous cars beeping their horns. I only took a couple of photos and then scurried back to the car and now I'm home I'm really disappointed with them.....but I'm not going back!!

School broke up yesterday but as Lucy has a Further Maths exam this afternoon she's had to go in. Rob is at the park with his friends.

Tomorrow will be a very late blip...unusual for me...or even a backblip as we are going down to Wembley to watch England v Belgium. I don't expect it go be the most exciting game ever but have heard rumours that David Beckham, amongst others, is to receive an award for something or other at half time so that will make sitting in the car for hours worthwhile :))
