Tain Hill

A beautiful sunny day on Tain Hill looking across the Dornoch firth to Dornoch. Little Grebe were on the lochan and the trees full of various tits,  tree pipits and siskins.
The quarry up here, now completely covered in ancient greenery, was the source for the stone to construct Tain.
