aww cute...

a baby blackbird...not really a baby anymore, maybe more of a toddler/pre-schooler?! I was called downstairs to see it by A and told to bring my camera, which was very sweet of him as he could have got this for his own blip.  

Another glorious day - i tried sitting in the garden with camera to get some bird shots (i needed the research honest, it wasn't just because it was sunny.....) but no one came to feed.  There was a whole cacophony of bird song in all the trees, i guess the bugs are all out now and so it's only the sparrows and chaffinches wanting our food, oh and the big fat wood pigeons ...

Off to the rural's committee meeting tonight ...shouldn't have eaten so much tea as there is bound to be cake.... yum!
