When is a sitting...

... not a sitting? Appropriate answers please (given that this notice appears in the Gents Toilets).

Along with four other volunteers from Harrogate Library Local Studies team, I had a very interesting and enjoyable day in Hebden Bridge.

Fellow blipper  MidegholeDave arranged for us to meet with his colleagues at Pennine Horizons Digital Archive. They do a marvellous job digitising a massive archive of material, including photographs in many different formats, Much of their work is then made available on the web. 

We were treated to an excellent overview of their work in pleasant surroundings and we greatly appreciate the helpful and knowledgeable advice we received to help take our work forward in Harrogate.
