Fossae

I suppose that I'd better blip some archaeology from the site (although, I did get some lovely shots of a fox snoozing on a pile of grass clippings, very tame)
The other trench is more exciting, visually, but that one's LeftHand's. I'm in Trench 2 which has this ditchy thing across it (it looks like a shadow running horizontally across the middle of the shot) We suspect it's a Mediaeval field boundary ditch, or similar, but all will be revealed tomorrow when I dig a section through it.
It is parallel to the Roman fort, so maybe it's more interesting...
There are actually two more linear features, beyond the ditch, on a different alignment, so I'll check them out, too.
