Standard Forsythia

I've had this forsythia in the front garden for some time and have been de-limbing it and topiarising it to make it more interesting. The early evening light just caught it side on and you can also just see the top of a yellow spiraea.
Busy afternoon, mainly pricking out seedlings. I also dug up an overgrown iris and repotted several corms. The remainder has been returned with some gravel and fresh compost to the hot border, with the corms lying south to north to get a good sun baking.
