Book group

It's been a while since we met for book group - tonight we discussed two books: If on a Winter's Night a Traveller by Italo Calvino, and Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami. They were written in the seventies and eighties and seem very much a product of those times -stylistically and in the topics explored. I lost patience with both of them a few times, but it's always interesting to read books you wouldn't choose yourself...
