New moon and Venus

I've seen lots of images this week but been driving and not able to stop and snap. Also have had a cold/hay fever which has been very inconvenient - especially as I'm meant to be talking to people and I've virtually lost my voice haha!
But tonight I met up with my stepdaughter and some of my ex-colleagues for an early evening meal. Lovely to see old friends and catch up. Then back home just in time to snap the new moon with my iPhone. At times like this I think I would like a proper camera. But it's oh so good to have the light evenings back...
