lurking under the bench

This innocent little stone bench in Dean's Park beside York Minster features gargoyle-styled figures all the way round. As the light faded tonight this fellow was discovered lurking as I strolled around looking for today's blip. Took a dozen shots on the Minster itself, but ended up with this little beastie as my subject for the day.
