Bowling alley ceiling
There's an old bowling alley beneath the streets of downtown Phoenix. It opened in the 1920s and closed in the '50s. These glass bricks make up part of the ceiling, and apparently they light up at night. I haven't noticed.
When I was taking this photo, a man walked by and asked if I knew what it was. I said yes. He said apparently one of Al Capone's cars is under the sidewalk in the bowling alley. A likely story.
