It was a long journey home today, spoilt by a ridiculously early pick up by the shuttle service, and a long detour off State Highway 1 due to a road closure which added an extra 30 minutes driving on minor roads.
We had arranged a homestay for Ollie and picked him up on the way back. He stayed on a section of 12 acres and Neill and Julie have two dogs of their own so he was well looked after,even sleeping in their bedroom with the other dogs. Once home he appeared more tired than us and collapsed for the next two days or so !
