Brave Little Soldier

Despite having the pox, little D slept well and was full of smiles this morning. When I got him changed I was amazed at how many more spots had developed overnight. He's got them everywhere, and I mean everywhere! Miss A had Chickenpox at 16 months too but she had no more than a handful of spots so I wasn't prepared for the full dot to dot effect. I am rather tempted to get a marker pen out and see what interesting artwork I can create on his body.

Apart from wanting to have a wee scratch here and there, he's doing great and is happily playing in the garden with Miss A, now that the sun has reappeared.

Thank God (and the chemist) for calamine lotion and anti-histamine.
