Shy Bull

Hoped to snap some ST Georges flags out and about today but no sign of any hanging anywhere - such a shame on Englands National Day!

did manage to visit an NGS (national garden scheme) Open Garden today and it was the first opening of the year of Barnards Farm http://www.barnardsfarm.eu/ which is here in Essex.  Didnt manage to get there last year so thought we'd pop by to see all the changes and there are many!! they've introduced a model railway over the past couple of years which has proved very popular and it is a great way to see all of the sculptures that are dotted around the 17 hectares of grounds and gardens.  This is the first time we'd see 'Shy Bull' in situ and he looked great! Made up of old car parts he's just an amazing creation. Think we'll be visiting again this year as it is always good to see gardens in different seasons - and their lemon drizzle cake is well worth going back for!!
