The Legacy

This is a snapshot of one of 39 gardens at Barnsdale where Gardeners World TV programmes were produced.  More than 30 years ago Geoff Hamilton began presenting the programme from what was little more than a ploughed field and week by week he created a variety of themed gardens.  His son, Nick, continues the work of creating small gardens on the site.  Blossom, bees, butterflies and birds in abundance!  We thought this picture captured the day in one small area.
