Anni Mamundi

Corizus hyoscyami...

Go me and my Latin names :-)

Also, go me and my long write-up for blip (which disappeared with a mere 'invalid dimensions' note!). Sigh.

In short, I was in the conifers, awaiting a goldcrest (which I could hear) when this little bug and pals made an appearance.
I'm not fixated with rear ends, honestly (!) though my recent blips would not agree. I witnessed a rather lovely courtship (I swear their little pupils were even dilated... Either that or I'm watching too much Poldark?).

In other news I had a haircut. (To alleviate the wild and woolly Wensleydale look). Now I resemble a fetching bit of topiary, that kind you do to old yews in churchyards, where you shave the bottom scissor sharp and the neck  trunk stands out looking all scraggy. It's all very well with clever primping and moussing. Shall I be doing that? Shall I bog roll.
Tomorrow morning I shall resemble nothing as much as a large pom-pom.

Still. I like a nice titfer.

Don't you itch when you've been in the trees?
No need to reply.

The poached pears were a treat.

Happy Day of St George one and all.
