Shut eye

As it's Friday, the day of rest and recuperation (For me) I had a few hours in Luxor, wandering around snapping and enjoying the peace and quiet at Prayer time. (And then a dip in the pool)

Seems to be so many things happening at the moment; I am feeling very patriotic about the Queens Diamond Jubilee and am really looking forward to seeing Corky on the Thames Pageant tomorrow. I love all the regalia and totally British way of doing things and am sorry to not be able to take part in ole Blighty.

Our previously overturned and ousted Mubarak, is due to find out his fate tomorrow as well....lots of murmurings about this, all talk, as no-one literally knows anything. The Court opens at 9 -ish! The final round of elections will be on the 14th and THEN we will know in which direction the once mighty Egypt will be going.

The owner of the zoo, will be given his licence tomorow and we are due to meet the Wildlife Manager of the Egyptian EEAA to witness this.

My poor friend Hazel, has broken her arm, she slipped on wet ceramics at a Luxor restaurant :-(

Me...I am just Blipping and waiting for all these things to happen and look forward to an ACE day tomorrow.
