Practising

I have been practising some of the macro techniques I was taught during my photography lesson at the weekend.  This image was taken with a very shallow depth of field (for my camera anyway!) and angled so that the background colours included the blue sky and new green leaves of the hawthorn bush.

I took a few where the background was nicer but I liked the dew clinging to the blossoms in this one.
