A selfie too far

More sunny patterns.  I'll have to pluck up the courage to ask strangers if I can photograph them to avoid more of these.  
One woman did come along when she saw me setting up the camera and running into position.  She asked if I would like her to take my photo.  I said it was more the lines and shadows I was interested in but I just needed a subject.  She said 'what lines and shadows?' I pointed them out to her and asked would she like to be my subject.  She declined.  
She was eager to help me out though so I let her take my photo.  This isn't the one she took.
