Jewel in the crown

We walked through the towns park on our way to Max's martial arts lesson this evening.
It's the Jewel in the Crown of our little town.
The King George VI Coronation Park opened on the 29th June 1938 by Coun. Eric.C.Spencer .
The people who know me will wonder how on earth I know this !!!!!!!
It was on a plaque LOL x
