Glimerton village- the bowling club

It was a lovely evening, so I decided to go for a walk in Gilmerton village after I got home from work.  I noticed for the first time that the front of this cottage was dated 1867.  I love the stone work on the side of the cottage that creates a lane leading into the entrance of the bowling club.  There are two ways into the bowling club, but both are difficult to find.  I am ask for directions to the bowling club so often that I have considered carrying photocopies of a map showing where the entrances are so that I can give them to all the lost visitors.
