Whilst the 105mm f/2.8 micro is quite sharp I've never got much out of the moon with it. It is pleasing that cheapyzoom is able to demonstrate surface detail, as I mostly bought it for using on relatively still things rather than moving children who would resist shutter speeds suitable for f9 or f/13.
