Regent Street Cinema

Regents Street Cinema has recently been renovated and is soon to be open to the public. Seeing as the Cinema is actually part of the Regents Street Campus, all staff at the University got the opportunity to buy tickets for a test screening. Luckily, me and Dad were able to get tickets and I felt very privileged to be one of its first customers.

This particular cinema was the first ever Cinema in Britain and most of its original features still remain. It has been modified and made to look brand new. We went to see The Shining, a 1980s classic horror film. We both had never seen it before and both agreed it may not have been the best of movies but it's the experience that counts.

Afterwards we went for a drink and then had dinner in Honest Burger Bar. The burgers are in Londons top 10 apparently. I must say, we both loved it and even better... Dad had gluten free every thing!

It was a lovely evening, and nice to do something special with Dad.
